Evara is Estre’s public argument for a rounded modular: soft curves, refined detailing, everyday comfort, flexible configuration. It is designed for the room you actually use, not a gallery. Other modular runs can stay more architectural. The factory will not pretend a curve solves a 9-foot TV wall by magic.
Modular here means you add or subtract seats and corners in the brief. It does not mean you keep spare warehouse modules under the bed. Everything is still cut after the deposit.
When to pick a curve over an L
- The living room is a square or an island, not a long corridor wall
- You want people to face each other, not a single TV axis
- Sharp sectional arms fight a scalloped rug or a round table
- You have walked around an Evara at the Estre Furniture Studio and the sit feels right
If the room is a narrow rectangle with one TV wall, a straight 3-seater or a disciplined L will usually waste less floor. Read L-shape and U-shape before you romanticise a crescent.
Configuration, price, lead time
Module count drives fabric metres and price more than the adjective “designer”. The Evara product page shows the MRP and festive price for each configuration. Custom image work still adds 15–20%.
Lead time 14–25 days. Installation in Bangalore is white-glove because aligning modules on an uneven apartment floor is a two-person job, not a YouTube afternoon.

Can I add modules later?
Later modules have to match foam age, fabric dye lot and frame height. Ask Estre before you assume a year-two add-on will invisible-seam.

Typical production is 14–25 days from confirmation, followed by Bangalore white-glove installation.
Does a curved sofa cost more than a straight sofa?
Usually yes, because of patterning and module count — not because of a mystery luxury tax. Ask for a configuration quote.
