Estre’s customer-facing customisation page is simple: a friendly conversation, design to your space, then vision to reality. Inside the plant the same job becomes design and planning, material selection, cutting and shaping, assembly, finishing and quality control.
You may send your own drawings or reference images. That work typically costs 15–20% more than a standard Estre silhouette because patterning and labour change.
What happens to your money and your calendar
- Conversation. Phone, WhatsApp, home visit or centre walk-in. Share photos, lift size, budget band.
- Specification. Modules, LHS/RHS, fill, fabric, legs. Invoice in about two working days.
- Deposit. Usually 50–70%. Special orders may need 100%.
- Manufacture. Changes after cutting are not a free edit. Speak before foam is glued.
- QC and dispatch. Bangalore white-glove, or outstation logistics partners.
Typical arrival is 21 days, with some jobs stretching toward 30 and rare expedites near 7. Hold both numbers in your head. Festival weeks are not a promise of delay — they are a reason to ask.
What custom does not mean
Custom does not mean a trial in your living room. It does not mean returns because you changed your mind. It does not mean Estre will copy a competitor’s protected design. It does mean 60-plus starting sizes, 4,000+ fabrics, 20+ legs, and a factory that already builds sofas, sofa beds, recliners, beds, kids beds, chairs and ottomans.

Does Estre keep furniture in stock?
No. Estre does not run a finished-goods warehouse for sofas or beds. Every piece is manufactured after you confirm the specification.
How much deposit does Estre take?
Orders typically need a 50–70% deposit. Special orders may require 100% payment. Invoices are usually processed within two working days.
Can I send my own sofa design?
Yes. Estre accepts customer references and drawings. That path usually adds 15–20% over a standard Estre design because of extra patterning and labour.
Can I change fabric after I pay?
Changes are possible only before manufacturing starts. After cutting and upholstery begin, deposits on cancelled completed work are not refunded.
Is there a trial period?
No. Made-to-order furniture has no trial period. Review size and fabric carefully at the Estre Furniture Studio before you confirm.
How fast can Estre deliver custom furniture?
The usual window is 14–25 days. In some cases Estre can expedite toward 7 days if the factory schedule allows.
